Important Information Regarding Alcoholic Beverages

• If you drink... don't drive. If you drive... don't drink.
• Underage drinking is taken very seriously in Orange County.
• Identification may be subject to electronic scanning to ensure validity.
• North Carolina law requires a person to be at least 21 years of age to purchase, possess or consume alcohol.
• It is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE  to attempt to purchase beverage alcohol under the age of 21.
• It is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE to use a fake or an altered identification document. Fake ID's are subject to be confiscated.
• It is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE to aid, abet, sell or give alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 21.
• Alcoholic beverages will not be sold to anyone who appears to be underage or intoxicated.
• An adult who attempts (or appears to attempt) to purchase alcoholic beverage for a minor will be refused service.
• Return/Refund Policy - No returns or refunds are allowed after the product has left the store.
• Minors are not allowed in the stores (except for adults with small children).

Store Hours

All Orange County ABC Stores are open Monday thru Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM except for holidays and Christmas Eve (stores close at 6:00 PM).

Holiday Closings

Calendar Year 2012:  New Year's Day (will be observed on January 2), Martin Luther King Day (January 16th), Easter Monday (April 9th), Memorial Day (May 28th), Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day (September 3rd), Thanksgiving Day (November 22nd), and Christmas (December 25 & 26th).
